Hi, I’m Terra!

I’m a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) . But more than that- I'm a friend, parent, community member, and advocate. I have a deep passion for inclusive reproductive and sexual health throughout the lifespan and have dedicated my career to helping people live their healthiest, happiest lives.

Over the last 7+ years as a nurse practitioner, I have worked with thousands of patients across over 11 states! Along the way, I’ve developed clinical protocols for well-known healthcare organizations, stayed on top of the newest research and helped implement it into practices, and constantly refined my approach — but the part I truly love most is connecting with people one-on-one and helping them feel seen, heard, and supported. I have a specific passion for working with people in rural areas, and am thrilled to offer greater access for my patients through telehealth. Unlike other practices, I can take my time going over all of your questions and concerns, and truly help you find the best treatment for your body and life. Because I don't take insurance, I am able to prescribe and recommend the best possible options for my patients without insurance limitations.

I know firsthand how overwhelming our healthcare system can feel. There is a significant lack of education, expertise, inclusion, and options for people going through the perimenopause transition, and for folks seeking Gender Affirming Healthcare. My goal is to create a space for you that feels safe, inclusive, holistic, and approachable, where we can talk openly, answer your questions, and make decisions together as a team based on the newest research.

My patients often tell me visits feel like talking to a best friend — someone who listens deeply, makes you feel empowered in your care, and gives you a warm ( virtual) hug. You get to decide the best course of action, and my role is to provide you the education and clinical expertise to help guide your decision and ensure you are confident in your decision. That’s exactly what I strive for with every interaction! I am a fierce advocate for reproductive healthcare access, trans rights, my patients, and strive to be the medical provider that I always wanted to have. I am a white, trauma informed, cisgender, LGBTQIA + provider. I hope you leave our visits feeling confident and empowered, and then take that energy into the world with you to live your best, most authentic life.

When I’m not caring for patients, I’m enjoying life with my little one and spouse in Colorado. I am a " joyful movement" enthusiast. Whether mountain biking, lifting heavy weights, going to a dance class, hiking, sweating on my Peloton ( add me @SpilltheT1 ), or having a dance party at home with my daughter, I never miss my 30-45 minutes of joyful movement every day. I also love to bake gluten-free goodies for my loved ones and have been named "Aunt T with the baked goods."
